Hello, Hallo, Bonjour Lovelies!
Sharing a mini CHANEL collection, my family tradition and history of Chanel, and of course, outfit inspired by Chanel. Chanel is one of those impeccable brands that lives by legends. Whether your grandmother wore a Chanel handbag or your mother gave you the first scent of a Chanel No.5, some of you may have found your way to Chanel through memories of the women you look up to. My mother's favorite and go-to was the Chanel No.5, and my grandmother kept her very first and only Chanel No.5 parfum from Belgium from the 1950s, post WWII, with her till this very day. She now passed her dear parfum to me, a treasure she cherished for over 50 years. It was the most special moment for me.
Neither the Chanel No.5 parfum's packaging nor the scent has changed since the 1950s. The package material was made of hard plastic back then, rather than today's hard cover paper shell, but very little has changed, making this one, a legend.
As for my outfit, I took a modern approach to the classic Chanel blazer. This one is a Chanel-design inspired blazer (see here) for just 80 Euros, and this brooch from Chanel (see similar here) was the perfect fit. Actually, I sought out to buy this blazer because of this beautiful brooch. To avoid heavy textures or patterns under this blazer, I opted for a casual black & white t-shirt with a denim skirt for this spring, city look.
Of course, this was accessorized with the Chanel BOY, giving a complete classic Chanel look. Additional accessories included Chanel earrings (see similar here), David Yurman bracelets (see here and similar), and Bulgari ceramic rose-gold ring (see here).
I found these beautiful shoes from &otherstories (see here), which paired perfectly for this look! They also have a load of beautiful summer shoes, so if you're seeking out for summer wedges, check them out here!
